You can refer to these as the “Black Anniversary” Air Jordan 11, due to it’s opposite colorway that was part of the silver anniversary a few years back. This Air Jordan 11 features an all black upper with a smokey sole and if you’re willing to shell out a few dollars. A pair of the shoes hit Ebay – - the shoes current bid is $11,000… Would you pay that much for J’s?

Michael Jordan Fined $100,000!

Legendary basketball player, Michael Jordan, has been fined $100, 000! Why has the superstar been fined so much? Apparently, Michael has been opening his mouth a little too much! Sources say the NBA is fining Michael for discussing the lockout and Andrew Bogut (an Australian player) with an Australian newspaper. There are rules set in place that prohibit owners and employees from discussing the lockout. Mike is majority-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats. Therefore, his ownership has put him in violation of the rules. 
The statements that have Mike in trouble are as follows:
“The model we’ve been working under is broken. We have 22 or 23 teams losing money, so I think we have to come to some kind of understanding in this partnership that we have to realign.”
“I know the owners are not going to move off what we think is very necessary to put a deal in place that allows us to co-exist as partners. We need a lot of financial support throughout the league as well as revenue-sharing to keep this business afloat.”
“We have stars like Bogut, who are entitled to certain demands. But for us to be profitable in small markets, we have to be able to  win ball games (affordably) and build a better basketball team.”
This isn’t his first time getting fined by the NBA either. He was fined $15,000 in 2007 after he commented about then-Texas freshman Kevin Durant in an interview with the Charlotte Observer.

Lil Wayne Pays $5 Million Tax Bill

News came out in April that Weezy F. Baby hadn’t been paying his taxes and that he owed the Feds $5.6 million. He even tried to sell his $14 million mansion to pay Uncle Sam off. Well it looks like Lil Wayne has cleared his debt to society by paying off that super bill. With Tha Carter IV being certified platinum this week, Lil Wayne is rolling in the dough. Glad to see he won’t be headed to jail over taxes like Wesley Snipes did a few years back.

Lil Wayne Performs In Woodlands On His “I Am Still Music” Tour [Video x Pics]

On September 11th, Lil Wayne performed live in Woodlands, Texas at the Woodlands Pavilion for the final stop on his “I Am Still Music” tour. In the video above, Tunechi pays tribute to the victims of 9/11: “As a black man, it’s kinda tough to root for the home team given what we went through for this motherfucking home team, but I still can proudly say I am a motherfucking American”, as well as bringing out his blood brother Game to sing the “My Life” chorus.
